Fresia runaway snow sweepers F2000 series are specifically designed for high performance in airport snow cleaning operations.

The company Fresia S.p.A. has been granted the incentives provided for by the Fund for Sustainable Growth under the call for proposals ‘Innovation Agreements – Smart Factory’, referred to in Ministerial Decree of 5 March 2018 – CHAPTER II and in the Innovation Agreement of 01/02/2021, for the implementation of the research and development project entitled ‘Study and development of innovative special vehicles for predominant airport use’, identified with number F/160028/00/X41
The company Fresia established in Millesimo in 1923 as a transport company for both goods and people.
After some years of activity, Mr . Gianbattista Fresia thought that, in order to keep his fleet of vehicles perfectly efficient, it was very important to build up a well equipped workshop to carry out vehicles maintenance.
After the ravage of the Second World War, spare parts for vehicles were hardly to be found and therefore the company Fresia started the production parts needed for the maintenance of its vehicles.
Millesimo is placed in North West Italy, where snow falls are frequent in winter.
For this reason, in the Fifties Gianbattista’s son, Giulio, started the manufacturing of vehicles and equipment for snow removal.
At the end of the Sixties, the aircraft 747 came into service and the italian air company Alitalia ordered to Fresia the manufacturing of the first big push-back tractor. In the same period Fresia got important orders by Italian Air Force.
Company operative headquarters are in Millesimo with a coverd area of about 11.000 sqm.
